Flat Transformation in Grade II listed building in Bath
- Brief Project Description: Flat Transformation in Grade II listed building in Bath – Heritage Apartment Refurbishment
- Location: Bath
- Project Status: Works in Progress
- Scope of Works:
Nestled within one of Bath’s most iconic Georgian terraces, this Grade II listed flat has been thoughtfully transformed into a sophisticated two-bedroom residence that unites timeless character with modern comfort.
When we acquired the property, it featured a dated one-bedroom layout. Our team undertook a comprehensive redevelopment, from architectural design and planning submissions to full interior refurbishment, ensuring every stage met the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance.
The reconfiguration introduced new partition walls to form an additional bedroom with an en-suite, while the carpet flooring was replaced with beautifully detailed engineered oak. The entire electrical and plumbing systems were renewed, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were rebuilt from the ground up.
Each space was designed with precision and care: full-height tiling, premium sanitaryware, and bespoke finishes bring a sense of quiet luxury. Brushed brass ironmongery enhances the bedrooms, living area, and main bathroom, while polished chrome fittings lend a contemporary contrast in the en-suite.
All refurbishment works were completed in full accordance with the latest building regulations and heritage requirements, preserving the listed fabric of the property while elevating it to modern living standards.
Inspired by Bath’s architectural heritage, the design embraces an antique aesthetic that harmonises with the building’s Georgian character, resulting in a home that feels both historic and beautifully renewed.
