JG BLADUD

Set within the heart of Bath, Flat 3 at Bladud Buildings is a quiet dialogue between past and present. Every line, colour and finish was guided by the intention to preserve the grace of Georgian craftsmanship while bringing the space into the rhythm of modern life.

The apartment opens with soft symmetry, its proportions enhanced by natural light and the texture of restored detailing. The new layout introduces a second bedroom and en-suite, carefully planned to maintain the sense of calm and balance inherent to the original architecture.

The bathrooms draw inspiration from classic English design, combining patterned flooring, handcrafted tiles and refined brass and chrome fittings. Each element was chosen for its tactile quality and timeless appeal. The kitchen, framed by deep green cabinetry and warm timber tones, creates a focal point that feels both historic and current.

Throughout the apartment, engineered oak flooring provides warmth underfoot while accentuating the subtle geometry of the rooms. The palette remains soft and grounded, allowing the building’s heritage features to breathe.

Every aspect of the project, from planning to joinery, was approached with the same care given to a listed landmark. The result is an apartment that feels naturally rooted in its Georgian character yet fully attuned to contemporary living.
